JNICSR founder Chairperson Mr. Nikhil Kumar Sarojaz under the aegis of Shahid Rajguru College of applied sciences for women was officially invited by the college to propel the cause of corporate social responsibility (CSR). CSR has been an upcoming model integrated and wired into the business models of the corporates.

Mr.Nikhil Kumar Sarojaz briefed the students about the importance of CSR as a means to sustainable development and responsible corporate behaviour. He advocated the cause of corporate self regulation integrating social and environmental concerns. JNICSR Foundation offers a one year diploma in CSR equipping the corporate aspirants and students to pursue promising and secured career prospects.

CSR can also help improve the perception of a company among its staff, particularly when staff can become involved through payroll giving, fundraising activities or community volunteering. CSR is conceived as an integral part of the corporate culture as these organisations compulsorily as a matter of policy, spend 2 percent of their profits on CSR.
He was warmly received by both the management and students of the college ,as they clearly favoured the potential strength of doing a diploma in CSR. They saw CSR as an agent to promote and realise the mission and vision of corporates and multinationals. “CSR certainly helps in increasing the long term profits of an organisation” with this pursuit the founder of JNICSR enlightened the Shaheed Rajguru college about the civil society, corporates and students as important stakeholders in the growth of CSR. He also gave a thorough insight into the world of CSR, neatly blended and woven around the social and environmental issues which have often been neglected by the civil society and system at large.
The professors and students alike were impressed by the entire presentation and pledged to become a torchbearer for the young aspirants of CSR. JNICSR founder awarded a certificate of participation to all the students who indulged actively in the workshop. He also offered a generous scholarship amounting to Rs.10000/- to the prospective candidates of Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences For Women, Delhi University.
