JBM Group’s Skill Development Center: Initiative towards CSR

Recognising and understanding its responsibility for the society, JBM Group, one of India’s leading auto ancillary groups, has decided to contribute to the government’s initiative by training hundreds of low educated youth, provide skill development training to them, and further retaining them in their establishments across the country and bring them into main stream of the society.

The Government of India has been strongly emphasising on upgrading population’s skills by providing vocational education and training to them.In this regard, the govt has formulated the National Policy on Skill Development and indicates that there is an additional net incremental requirement of 109.73 million skilled manpower by 2022. The current percentage being at a meagre 4.69% of skilled manpower in India.

JBM Group has aligned itself to government’s initiative and has incubated a unique Dual training ‘Earn while Learn’ at their Skill Development Center in Faridabad. JBM’s CSR initiatives are changing thousands of lives everyday. Their whole Skill Development initiative has a Government of India approval. The students at the end of their course receives certification from the Ministry of Skill Development.The company aims to target as many as 10,000 youth over the next five years.
