COSMé India 2017 to kick start on October 5

ASSOCHAM is organizing ‘COSMéIndia 2017’, a conference cum exhibition and awards on Cosmeceuticals, Cosmetics & Personal Care on October 5, 2017, at Hotel Shangri La, New Delhi. The conference-cum-exhibition will see industry people will deliberate on issues and challenges faced by Indian cosmeceuticals, cosmetics and personal care industry.

India’sCosmeceutical, Cosmetics and Personal Care Market, currently estimated to be$7.50 billion, is likely to be $11.15 billion by 2022. Annual growth in the Indian beauty and cosmetics markets is estimated to remain in the range of9-12 percent in the coming years, twice as fast as that of the US and European markets. “The objective of the COSMé India 2017 is to bring stake holders on a common platform to network and discuss development and expansion of cosmeceuticals, cosmetics and personal care market in India. It will bring together major players to the problems faced and to discuss probable solutions.COSMé India 2017 will help companies showcase new products, innovations and technologies,”.

Companiesthat produce personal care products are now seeking new bioactive ingredientsand new delivery system technologies, revolutionizing the way we look at beautyand wellness therapies today. Indian consumers are also inclined towardsnatural and herbal cosmetic products. The herbal cosmetics industry is expectedto grow at a rate of 12% in India. “The industry experts will also discussways to synchronize India’s manufacturing standards with the ones adoptedglobally, so as to help Indian Cosmetics Industry gain a steady stand in theoverseas markets,”
