[Jaipur, 23rdSeptember 2016] – Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, a non- profit super speciality cancer hospital by KGK Memorial Trust has been awarded under the category “Best Healthcare Trust Provider” at Elets 2nd Annual Healthcare Summit, Rajasthan 2016.
Dr. S C Pareek, MD, BMCHRC and Dr. Prem Singh Lodha, ED, BMCHRC received the award from Mr. Naveen Jain, Mission Director (NHM), Medical, Health & Family Welfare, Government of Rajasthan. Dr. S. C. Pareek was also amongst the noted speakers.
On the occasion, one of the key topic of discussion was Healthcare Insurance Schemes on the Road of Inclusiveness & Easy Accessibility. During this session, the thought leaders, other stakeholders and policymaker expressed their views on the progressive reforms witnessed in healthcare landscape due to the rise in the number of government-based health schemes running successfully in various states to cover increased number of needful people under the umbrella of such schemes to deliver cost-effective healthcare in the remotest corners and improving the overall health status of India. The major focus was on the role of technology in democratizing the impact of health insurance.
Considering Jaipur as the first Indian city to be accredited as centre for medical Tourism, it is now becoming a hub for Medical Tourism. Rajasthan has been the frontrunner in terms of adoption of advanced technologies, e- initiatives and disruptive technologies.
